Association “Friends Of Verdiso”

The constitution of the Association “Friends of Verdiso – It is Verdiso” in Combai (Province of Treviso) goes back to 1991. Not only producers, but also consumers are active part of this association. “Friends of Verdiso” was the first association in the whole Veneto region (and probably also in a wider territory) to make a study about the wines and their best places of production.
This scientific study led to a book about Verdiso, to which the Experimental Institute for Viticulture of Conegliano and the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso have participated.
To assure a constant wine genuineness, the association obtained a disciplinary of auto regulation with brand of origin and guarantee. In many occasions, such as in many events and at fairs, it also promotes Verdiso and its places of origin.
At the moment, many people are dedicating their efforts to valorize and promote Verdiso, true and precious expression of our territory.
